The beautiful meadows of
Tosa Maidan are surrounded by the
green lush forests of Pir Panjal
. The tall and green Deodar trees enclose the area of
Tosa Maidan with the green lush grass and wildflowers. To reach the Tosa Maidan, one has to cross several villages including Habber, Drang, Sita Haran, Zakhora, and some others as well.
It is one of the most un-explored places in Jammu and Kashmir. The land is like a flower basket, that is filled with different colors of flowers. The over-look of this valley is so beautiful and amazing and the grazing animals and wild-flowers add more beauty to it.
This place is only visited by locals and visitors all across the globe are still unaware about its beauty.
Several streams flow from the top of the Pir Panjal, which join all together to form Sukhnag river. There are numerous passes at the top of this range that lead to the Poonch valley. Chinamarg Gali is the most used pass to reach Poonch.
The wide range of wildflowers adds more beauty to the pastures of Tosa Maidan. The fresh breeze that blows through the woods around made the visitors cherish. A large number of visitors come here in the summers as it is the best time to visit here. The greenery of this place is a treat to the eyes.
People also come here for trekking and camping. Adventure junkies start their trekking from Yousmarg or some people take a cab from the city of Srinagar to reach here.

How to reach:-
From the main city of Srinagar, it will take you almost 1 hour to reach Khag. And then one can cover the distance to reach Tosa Maidan by foot or by taking a pony ride.
