Orchards of Kashmir
The valley of Kashmir is blessed with natural beauty. Kashmir is known for the beautiful landscapes, mountains, woods, lakes, springs, and gushing streams. But besides tourism in Kashmir, this place is also known for handicrafts, apples, saffron, dry fruits, and hospitality. The tourist spots are beautiful and alluring and provide the best scenic views of green lush meadows, gushing water bodies, and huge snow-clad mountains.
In the valley, there is one under-rated beauty, that is of Orchards of Kashmir. The orchards of Apples in Kashmir, Almond, Walnut, Pears, Cherries Pomegranate, Apricots, etc. are worth seeing and praising. Agriculture is the main occupation of the people of the valley. The season of orchards of the kashmir valley starts in April. The blossoms sprout in this month and the fruits start to come out of blossoms in late July.
The Orchards of Kashmir are located at various places in the whole valley. You can enjoy the view and visit orchards in September and October when almost all the fruits had ripened. The fresh fruits are then packed for export and local selling.
The dry fruits in Kashmir took a little bit more time to get harvested and then in packing, as they need to get dried for the whole season of autumn. When winter arrives, people concerned with the business of dry fruits start to wrap them up. And many families store them for their personal use.
