River Rafting:- A sport for the adventure junkies

Water rafting in Pahalgam starts from Langbal to Ganeshpora that covers a distance of almost 12 kilometers. The water rafting in Lidder is of 3 types:-
1. The Lidder joy ride is only for beginners. This ride starts from the area Varganpal and ends at Yaneer bridge. The whole ride is 2.5 km only.
2. The Lidder long ride is also ideal for beginners. This ride is almost 5 km and starts from the Varganbal and ends at Ganeshpora.
3. The Lidder extra-long ride is perfect for the experts. This ride is the most adventurous and takes a brave heart for riding. This ride starts from the Langabal and ends at Ganeshpora.
Sonamarg is another place in Kashmir where one can experience river rafting. Water rafting in Sonmarg is the perfect adventure activity that one can experience here
Sindh river is used for this purpose, and is divided into 3 sections:-
1. The first and the easiest Sindh Joy Ride, which is approximately 3.5 kilometers and is perfect for beginners.
2. Next is the Sindh Long Ride, which has rapid ranging up to II. This ride is about 7 kilometers.
3. The most adventurous ride is the Sindh Extra Long Ride, almost a distance of 24 kilometers and has rapids ranging from II to IV and is perfect for the experts.
Talking about the whole, both rivers provide rapids ranging from I to IV. The rapids ranging from I to III are for beginners and the IV is for the experts.
