Burzuhama Archeological Site
is situated at the road that links the Naseem Bagh and Shalimar. It is 1800 meters above sea level.
Burzuhama Archeological Site provides you an alluring view of Dal Lake.
The first gouging at the site was carried out by the Yale-Cambridge expedition by helmet de terra and dr. Thomson Paterson. The
Archeological Survey of India
also made investigations of the site during 1960-1971.
Burzuhama Archeological Site has witnessed the antiquities of art, architecture, coins, vessels, customs, and languages. The customs and the language antiquities are engraved on pottery artifacts. The remains of the hunting and fishing tools gave the idea that the ancient inhabitants were associated with the same professions for living.

How to reach:-
From the Srinagar international airport, it will take you almost 50 minutes to reach.
On returning from Shalimar garden, it will only take you 10-15 minutes to reach here.
If traveling from Jammu, this route will take you 8 hours and 20 minutes at least.
