is situated at an altitude of 2,134 meters above sea level.
This valley has some greater deposits of freshwater bodies including the
Warvan river. This river is formed by the convergence of the Gumbar and Batkot streams. The valley of Warvan is surrounded by Ladakh in its east, Kashmir valley in the north. This place receives a huge snowfall during winters and the roads remain closed during this time.
