is just a gateway that is made up of stones with the pure and classical Mughal and Persian style. It is the main entrance gate to Hari Parbat fort
. It has high domed gates and the ceiling has carved with beautiful patterns inspired by Persian style. People who get inspired by the historical architecture can visit this place, while on the way to Hazratbal mosque.
Kathi Darwaza was built by Emperor Akbar in 1597. He actually built a whole city below the foothills of Hari Parbat and a gateway was installed which was later on called
Kathi Darwaza.
