Nigeen Club stands on the bank of Nigeen Lake in Srinagar, founded in 2010, with a restaurant, conference hall, sauna and library. It is a venue rather than a sight: conferences, events and quiet overnight stays, on the calmest stretch of water in the city with the Zabarwan woods behind it.

Event organisers use it for conferences and functions because of the setting: open water on one side, wooded slopes behind, and none of the traffic that surrounds venues in the city centre.
Is it worth a visit if you are not staying?
Mainly for a meal or coffee by the water, or if you are looking at venues. It is not a sightseeing stop.
For most visitors the reason to be on this side of the city is Nigeen Lake itself and the quieter houseboats moored along it. The Srinagar page has the sights.
