Pahalgam Golf Course

Pahalgam Golf Course Duke Kashmir Travels

Pahalgam Golf Course

Pahalgam Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 71 course beside the Lidder river at Pahalgam, laid out on meadow ground among fir and alpine forest. Locals still think of the ground as a meadow, which is roughly what it plays like: open turf, mountains on every side, the river audible from several holes.

Duke Kashmir Travels arranges rounds alongside Pahalgam sightseeing. Registered with the J&K Department of Tourism as JKTA00003978 since 2011, we price Kashmir packages from about ₹6,350 per person, two to a room.

Key takeaways

  • Eighteen holes, par 71, on the valley floor at Pahalgam.
  • The Lidder runs alongside and is visible from parts of the course.
  • Fir and alpine forest ring the fairways; snow peaks stand behind.
  • Carts and modern facilities are available at the club.
  • The season is short — roughly late spring to early autumn.
  • Two hours from Srinagar, so a round means staying in Pahalgam.

What is the course like?

Eighteen holes at par 71 across level meadow ground, with forest boundaries and the river close by.

It is a scenic rather than a punishing layout, and the altitude gives a little extra carry. Carts are available, and the club has the usual facilities for visitors.

When can you play?

From late spring to early autumn. Winter puts the valley under snow and the course out of use.

July and August are the busiest months in Pahalgam; June and September give easier tee times and steadier weather.

How do you arrange a round?

Green fees and equipment are handled at the club, and we book tee times for guests staying in Pahalgam.

Pair it with the side valleys — Betaab, Aru and Chandanwari — over two nights. Kashmir's other courses are at Gulmarg and in Srinagar.
